Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the NOC Supervisor: the incumbent will:

  • Proactive Network Surveillance of Transmission, IP, Environmental and Fiber management systems
  • Provides first level technical support (TAC-1) activities according to customer service level agreements (SLA).
  • Ensure that customer SLAs are achieved by speedily resolving faults.
  • Active surveillance of customer services on 24x7x365 basis.
  • Co-ordination of the Broadband Infraco Fault/Problem management process.
  • Act as an interface between the Broadband Infraco’s customer and the NOC.
  • Customer relations through consistent communication of progress on fault resolution.
  • Dispatching of regional Technicians and high-level support personnel (TAC-2).

Qualifications  and Experience:

  • National Diploma in Electrical or Computer Systems Engineering.
  • The candidate must have an experience on Telecommunication Network), Courses in specific products e.g., SDH, DMWM, TNMS, Experience in the field (approximately 2 years) to understand the inter-connectivity of the various elements of network in the physical layer, Ability to explain to Technicians on site required actions and identifications of components at a detailed level, Experience in using diagnosed software and understands the IP Network.
